Meat Puppets are back! After more than 11 years, the Kirkwood brothers are back together with a brand new album, which will be called Rise to Your Knees and will be released on July, 17th. Their last album, Golden Lies, was released in 2000 but Cris Kirwood was out of the band since 1995, and for all these years, he has been fighting against his addiction to heroin.
The Meat Puppets got their first hit on the radios with their single Backwater, from the album Too High To Die (which sold 500 000 copies) released in 1994. Then, they were invited by Kurt Cobain to play in Nirvana's MTV Unplugged, which propelled them into the mainstream spotlight.
